A small label from the 3/SKG10 Focke-Wulf FW190 A-5 [840047] CO+LT which crashed at Nettlefold Farm [now Park Farm] Borough Green, Kent, 12.50am, 13-14/6/43 following combat with a Mosquito XII of 85 Sqn flown by the famous night-fighter ace Wing Commander 'Cats-Eyes' Cunningham DSO & Bar, DFC & Bar and Flt. Lt. C.F. Rawnsley DFC, DFM & Bar. Very few relics from this aircraft have ever come to light. Provenance: Via well-known local enthusiast Alf Batt. Size: 51x26mm. Ref: The Blitz Then & Now Vol 3 page 280. I will be offering a number of crash relics from the Battle of Britain & the Blitz. All will have been recovered by myself or colleagues known to me.
