LUIS QUINTANILLA (1893 - 1978) Spanish Listed Artist , 1931 Etching of "Interior of Tram" or "Interior of Streetcar"; sighted 14-1/2" x 11-1/4", signed in lower right; written in pencil No. 7 in lower left; Matted, framed with glass; Overall size is 21-7/8" x 17-1/8" . Inscibed by the artist in the lower left of etching, "For my generous collabrator Dudley Fitts". Dudley Fitts was a teacher at Choate and Phillips Academy for many years. This etching is found in; " The Prints of Luis Quintanilla:A Catalogue Raisonné" as number 25 of the Madrid street scenes. Additional information on this artist can be found at This etrching is in very good condition . The glass could be cleaned, I have not examined this etching out of its frame . The frame is in very good condition with minor scratches on it. This etching was found in an estate sale of the person it is inscribed too and you are seeing this as it was found.
