This 5 inch high vase by St. Lukas of Utrecht has a pleasingly plump shape, going from the 2 and 3/4 inches at the top opening to the 3 inches at the bottom. The company was famous for its iridescent glaze which was developed by G. Offermans and is lovely to look at. The iridescent blue/green picks up the colors around it.The condition of the vase is excellent; on looking very closely I see a few really minor scratches (hard to see at all) and a small spot near the bottom w the glaze did not set (not noticeable at all when standing). Really unimportant to the condition, but I want to be absolutely thorough. The St. Lukas factory in Utrecht was in business from 1909 to 1923. Later in the decade it moved to Maarsden. NO RESERVE
