Luxor Goggles No. 6 Aviation Pilot Glasses & Case WWII Era Vintage aviator/pilot goggles with metal case. 4 1/2" x 2" x 2" oblong aluminum case with this writing on it: 'Luxor Goggle Marque Deposee (registered trademark) No. 6 E.B. Meyrowitz Paris Brevete (patented)S.G.D.G.' The case is very scratched up but the imprinted writing is in terrific condition. The lid comes off/on easily. The goggles have the original glass lenses - these are removeable. A few scratches present but not bad. The nose piece is adjustable. The rims are metal as well. The adjustable headband is intact but has suffered with elasticity loss due to age. The headband is also adjustable and removeable. The rubber or foam that used to surround the eyepieces is completely gone. The stitching thread that used to hold the foam in place remains. These are of the late 1920's to the 1940's time period.
