Up for auction is a PFM Boston & Maine B-15 2-6-0 switcher engine. This engine has just been painted in our pro paint and repair shop at BC Enterprises. List of duties performed to engine are as follows. Engine was stripped of previous owner paint, prepped and Scalecoat painted baked on for glass like finish. Engine has a semi-sheen protective coat applied over microscale decals all sealed correctly and correct road number 1428 with Fitchburg classification markings along with headlight numerals installed. Also has alternative front pilot and steps shown in picture. Previous owner installed north west shortline can motor with coasting drive gearbox. Chassis has been greased and all driver bearing lubricated and run in. Have to add that she is NOT a great runner as t is a slight lull in forward and reverse that goes away as speed increases. I would rate it a 7 out of 10 as far as running capability but with more work to the mechanism could be made to run better I just don't have the time to mess any more with it as I am busy with customer paint jobs. Constant high intensity lighting installed in front headlight but not hooked up as it was causing shorting problem so I disconnected it. marker light jewels installed.
