M-1941 EARLY WAR FIELD JACKET-48 INCH CHEST! This is an early war (pre 1943) Olive Drab cold weather M-1941 field jacket. Hard to find in any size... almost impossible to find with a 48 inch chest. Jacket is in very good condition. Fabric is strong with some fading and minor staining. Wool liner is in exceptional condition with no issues. Pockets are good with no holes. Cuffs have some fabric wear. Elbows have period deer skin leather reinforcements. 5 th Infantry Division patch (original to jacket) on left shoulder. Jacket size label is not present but soldiers name and last four digits of his serial number are printed on collar and armpit fabric.Good luck bidding!Need more pictures or info? Just ask.
