My name is Monty J. Morrow. I've been making handmade custom knives in my spare time since 1987. I've made everything from 3" lock back folders to a 20" 3 1/2 pound bowie! I utilize the stock removal method on all types of stainless tool steel and commercial damascus. I hope you like them as much as I do making them. Monty Damascus Drop point belt knife Blade - 3 1/2" x 15/16". Free hand hollow ground on a 12" wheel out of a bar of Brad Vice Damascus consisting of 416 layers of 1560, 52100, 203E and 15n20 steel in his "Red and Black Alabama" pattern. Tested at 60 Rockwell. Very sharp. "This is awesome looking steel ."Bolsters - Nickel silver, double hidden pins, dovetailed. Handle - Dyed and jigged bone. Full taperd tang with file work on the spine. Scales are secured with 2 handmade mosaic 1/4" pins consisting of stainless and brass and a nickel silver thong tube. T are also grooves on the back of the blade created with a checkering file. Sheath- Pouch type made of 6oz. vegetable tanned leather, Dyed antique brown and stamped with a basket weave pattern. Sealed with water repellent. Handmade and sewn by me. The over all length of the knife is 7". The steel thickness is .130".Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions. **No Buyer or Bidder under the age of 18!.
