This auction is for a M1 20 3/8 inch bayonet without a sheath, at least I think it is for a M1, I am not a collector so I am not sure. I do not know who made this bayonet but the markings on the blade are WT , US , 1943. The blade is in fair condition because it has some pretty deep pits on both sides of the blade. The handle is unusual, I looked at other bayonet auctions like this one and they seem to have a plastic type handle on both sides but this one has the plastic type on one side and wood on the other. I suspect someone made the wood side to replace a missing half. This is no museum mount bayonet but would look nice hanging on a wall in a den. I am not a collector so the condition is just my own opinion and I hope the pictures are clear enough you can judge the condition for yourself.USA sales only. I will accept PayPal, money orders and personal checks only.
