's a nice empty M1 wooden ammo box with lid. The bolts are with it to fasten the lid, but the metal straps that go across the top are missing. The pictures show most of the story. A shipping tag on the top indicates that this box was sent from Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA to Penitentiary #14-273-7, Lewisburg, PA. I can NOT find a date on the box, so I am unsure of the age. I have seen a similar box listed for 10 times this much, same photo front, stating it is WWII vintage. However, I DO NOT KNOW THE AGE OF THIS BOX. UPS shipping includes free insurance. Shipping note: Maximum shipping charge IF buyer accepts UPS SHIPPING will be $10.00 within the continental 48 lower US states. Shipping by UPS requires a STREET ADDRESS, not a PO box #.
