Please note, no PP for this auction. I will accept your personal check if you have a high rating with some recent activity. This is an original WWII-manufactured Saginaw S.G. butt plate for U.S. M1 Carbine with the missing dot at the 5 o'clock position. This one has been preserved in the original cosmoline wrap for 63+ years. Guaranteed unissued wartime production item. I unwrapped it last week and carefully removed the grease for the pics. T is a bit of green in the finish color. According to "U.S. M1 Carbines wartime production" 4th edition, by Craig Riesch, buttplates with the missing dot at the 5 o'clock position have also been attributed to later serial-numbered Rockola M1 Carbines. Other methods of payment are Money Order or Bankcheck.
