You are looking at a very nice and original WWII Winchester low wood M1 carbine stock with all metal. I removed this stock from my Underwood that my father bought back in the early 1960s. I will let the pictures do most of the talking. However, t are two "W" stamps on the stock, one in the sling well and another just forward of the recoil plate. The recoil plate is marked with a"W" and the screw head has two "X" stamps. T is a very nice Ordnance wheel stamp on the right buttstock forward of the sling/oil bottle well. The buttplate is in very good condition and appears to be the late type Winchester with very crisp checkering. The handguard is a four rivet type III and very nice as well. T is a "W" stamp as well as another stamp that I can not make out. I am no expert on these so if you have other information please help me out with it. I will only sell within the United States so please be aware of this before bidding. Contact must be made within three (3) days of close. Item to be paid for within seven (7) days of close of auction. I accept PayPal and United States Postal Service money orders. With PayPal I will ship immediately.
