Springfield Armory .308 M1 Garand Tanker barrel. I am starting this at $150 with no reserve. This has been sitting around my shop for a while and I need to clean things out. It has never been installed, is unfired and ready to go. It is short chambered and needs to be installed and finished reamed by someone that knows how to do it. It is in the original dark finish which looks Parkerized or "blued' almost black. The barrel is marked with "308' and " Geneseo , Il " the home of Springfield Armory. They made tanker Garands in the 1980s and 1990s. This is probably your last chance to get one of these quality barrels in a new unused condition. I got it at a gun show years ago. It needs to find a good home. Overall length is: 18 3/16 inches. From base at breach to muzzle is 17 ½ inches. Throat erosion is less than one. Muzzle erosion is less than one. Four-groove rifling. Non-chromed gas pad. All threads in excellent condition. ME and TE are different barrel to barrel and almost always over zero even on new barrels. Some new WWII Garand barrels are reported to have measured almost two on the ME and TE. These are listed to ensure you know this is a new barrel. This must be installed by a knowledgeable gunsmith, finished reamed and head spaced. Seller is not responsible for item after sale or its installation. Ask questions before you bid. I am also listing a M1 Carbine Scabbard and 1903 Springfield P.J. O' Hare sight micrometer. Check 'em out. Buying terms. By bidding you agree to the following terms No returns or refunds.
