M1 GARAND WWII TYPE 3 LOCK BAR REAR SIGHT You are bidding on a very nice USGI WWII M1 Garand Locking Bar Rear Sight Assembly. This is a Type 3 Locking Bar with Rounded Ends. Base is a Type 3. Aperture is a Double Track. Knobs are Knurled. Pinion is Type 3, Long 8/36 NF Thread. According to “A Collectors Field Guide” by J. C. Harrison this in Correct Grade for Springfield Arms Serial Numbers 1,009,000 thru 2,900,00. This assembly has average wear, dings and blemishes. End of shaft on Elevation Pinion is slightly damaged, from the staking, but lock bar holds tight and functions perfectly. See all photos before bidding. Any questions, feel free to ask!
