M1860 Colt Army w/ COLT FACTORY LETTER Serial #126xxx. .44 Cal. All numbers are sharp and clear and match. Cylinder scene is approx. 60% with sharp barrel address. All metal has a salt and peppered finish to it but is in good condition and has never been cleaned. Nipples are all original and is mechanically 100%. Walnut grips are in fine shape with cartouches on both sides. This pistol has a factory letter from Colt stating it was one of 1,000 shipped to the Commanding Officer New York Arsenal, Governors Island, New York on July 15, 1863. A very good example with impeccable provenance.
