Superb Model 1860 Staff Officer Sword, probably post-war c. 1880-1900. Beautiful, mint diamond section blade with etched panels and "US", etched at forte "US ARMORY SPRINGFIELD MASS". Inspector's mark on scabbard drag "S.W.P.", scabbard very good with only slight surface discoloration. Beautiful hilt, leather tight, all wire wrap intact, portion of sword knot strap remaining. Buyer adds $20.00 priority shipping, overseas to be calculated.
