Vintage Japanese Antique Glass Photo Negative Listed here is a glass photo negative from Late Meiji or early Taisho era C1900. All our negatives are originals (not reprints) obtained from within Japan usually through estate sales or auctions. Most are from Central Japan area but some come from other areas. You notice I do not give a long description of the photo here. As these are not my photos it is nearly impossible to tell you anything more than you can glean for yourself from the picture. These photos give you a chance to peer into the life of people over 100 years ago in a land that is incredibly different from your own. Still today, I can see the impact these times had on today's Japanese. This is an incredibly special experience. ConditionWear and tear due to age, but relatively good, please look at pictures carefully. We try to highlight any damage in pictures.
