The movie also showcased family photos and historical interviews with the seven-time champion that give the viewer an unprecedented look at the man in black. "Dale" was released in early 2007 showing only in major NASCAR markets. The film is a collaboration between NASCAR Media and CMT, and is due for a future DVD release. Motorsports Authentics released a series of 12 cars in conjunction with the movie. These cars represent various important dates and cars in Dales life. This particular diecast is #9 in the series and commemorates Earnhardts 1995 Silver Select paint scheme-- the first special paint scheme in racing. The car comes with a collector card with reflections from Chocolate Myers. It rests on a black base with a plaque.
