A hardback copy of Strangers at Brongwerne by Mabel Esther Allan, published by The Museum Press in 1953. First edition. The book has seen better days - it is ex-library, with all the usual faults and some less usual ones, including the loss of the final page of text. This has now been replaced with a copy, so you can at least read the full story! But it is really only a reading copy of an incredibly scarce title, it's only the second copy I've seen in over 30 years of collecting MEA books. The dustjacket is a copy in a protective sleeve which makes the book look at bit better! I have lots of Mabel Esther Allan books listed at the moment,
