WWI Machine Gun
Ammunition Box
This is wooden box that mounts on the side of the gun and the bullets feed from a belt. I don't know the caliber but if you are looking at this ad then you probably do, so please let me know. It is made of Oak or a similar hardwood and has very heavy brass hardware. It is in excellent condition and still has the original leather carrying strap, which is, regrettably torn. It measures approx. 12.5 x 4.5 x 8". A near century old relic from a pivotal time in history characterized by Trench Warfare and the ubiquitous and deadly machine gun.
