Mackenzie Childs 12" square Yellow/Black Torquay Plate

This is a wonderful Mackenzie Childs 12" square plate in the Torquay pattern. This plate was purchased at Richard and Victoria's studio in upstate New York. The center of this plate features black and white squares with pink flowers. The center is trimmed with a gold stripe. The outer edge of the plate is a yellow polka dot pattern with beautiful multi colored flowers of pink, yellow and blue with green leaves. The back side of the plate has green and terracotta colored stripes. T is one black square in the corner of the center section that has a ripple in the glaze (see picture). Otherwise, t are no cracks, chips or crazing. The bottom of the plate reads Victoria and Richard/1995/Mackenzie Childs Ltd. and stands 1 1/2" off of the table top.
