It is almost time for Holiday decorating! These beautiful stocking hangers will add a touch of both elegance and whimsy to your holiday mantel. With a heavy cast aluminum base of deep verde green, these hooks are decorated with a pleated gold-tone globe, on top of which sits a beautiful, ceramic minature Evergreen vase. The base of the vase is handpainted with the famous Courtly Check pattern, and the upper portion is painted a deep, Christmas red with shiny gold polka dots. A delicate green grosgrain bow is tied around the middle of the vase. These stocking hooks are very sturdy, and look beautiful holding Christmas stockings or tassels. (Tassels are not included in this auction but are being listed separately.) They stand 7 inches tall and the base is a 4 inch square. These stocking hooks have been retired, but I believe they retailed for about $150 each. The hooks are in excellent condition and have only been used inside a cabinet for display.
