Mackenzie- Childs Original Courtly Check Enamel Jug Purchased awhile back in Aurora NY
Twelve point gauge steel underbody with hand painted checks and ceramic glaze, rimmed in bronzed stainless steel. Lid: Crimped brass head, bone disc and wooden disc. Handles: Turned wooden handle, assorted stone and brass beads, bone disc. Dimensions: 9 in. wide, 10 3/4 in. tall, 64 ounce capacity This has been used in a light manor. It sat on the stove as a conversation piece. The disc (washer) on the brass head is broke but can be replaced. T is a minor chip on the lip but does not affect the pouring. It did not fall, it is just from the age.(sitting on stove which was not smart on my part) The handles are worn as picture is shown on the top and bottom due to sitting on the stove, however, it can be fixed very easily.
