Up for sale here is this used Mackie 1202 VLZ mixer. Physically, it is built like a tank, clean, and includes the power supply, original box and instructions. All items shown in the photos are included.UNIT TESTED!!Before placing this for auction, I thoroughly tested all of the unit's channels, all ins and outs, Mic ins, phantom power, mutes, solos and headphone monitors and found everything to be in very good working order, **with exception to the following important observations**:Issue #1; there is/was some static in some of the pots (only when turning the knobs) and so I carefully treated the knob/pots with a little deoxit (as well as the in and out jacks) to help clear a lot of that old oxidation out. Some of the static remains when knobs are actively being turned around but it is much much better and the knobs are dialing easier now.Issue#2; most notably affecting its sale price, this unit has picked up a *faint* but audible ground hum, which to me, sounds like (due to it's age) perhaps the capacitors filtering the power supply have dried up a little over the years. If this is the case, I understand the replacement of such capacitors is feasible at a relatively low cost (approx 5$ for new capacitors and perhaps $50 to take it somewhere to have done by a professional if soldering isn't your game).
