Offered for sale here is a Mackie Onyx 1640 mixer with the optional Firewire interface included and installed. I used this mixer successfully with Pro Tools 8 M-Powered with the optional driver from Mackie, Cubase 5.5, Sonar X1b, Ableton Live 8 Suite and Wavelab. It was racked once and includes the rack ears. It is in excellent condition and was used very little other than for monitoring and as an audio interface. The faders slide smoothly and the pots are all clean and quiet. Check out the photographs to verify that this mixer is like new other than slight rack rash on the rack ears!Included in the auction is the mixer, rack ears, power cord and paper manual.Here is some detailed information from the Mackie website: High-performance analog mixers for the digital era The goal for the Onyx Series was no short order: small-format analog mixers with more useful features, better sound quality, advanced tonal shaping and full FireWire connectivity options.
