Mad Magazine #49 EC | September 1959 | First PrintingCondition: Fine • A mid-grade copy with the main flaws that keep it from being a high grade copy being typical creasing on the spine. The book is very tight. There is slight blunting at the edges of the spine, more so on the bottom of the spine than the top, but neither is significant enough to be a major factor in the grading. Besides the flaws mentioned, the book is really sharp. The whites on the back and inside cover shows no yellowing or tanning. The internal newsprint show some faint tanning along some of the edges but are in overall excellent condition. The paper quality of both the exterior and interior is excellent.Images shown are scans or photos of the actual product, not stock images.About Our Grading: My client, Bruce Ayres, has been grading comics since 1975 and he is a CGC member.
