Mad Magazine - Paint by Numbers Issue - No. 41. Sep '58 NR . This is one of the delightful early issues of Mad, drawn with exquisite detail. By a mistake in assembling the magazine, it has two covers. The outer cover shown in the picture has a rubber stamp imprint. The identical inner cover is pristine. The MOVIES DEPT . spoofs "The Young Lions" featuring Marlon Brando, Montgomery Clift, and Dean Martin. The story on The National Geographic reminds that, in the late 50's, the National Geographic cover was the magazine index inside the decorated yellow rectangle. A 2-½" x 2-¾" subscription-renewal coupon has been cut out from page 4. Otherwise the issue is in excellent condition with unblunted corners, a flat cover, no spine wear, and no markings on the pages. No reserve
