up for auction is a nice slab of MADAGSCAR OCEAN JASPER with Various multi-colored Orbs and Geographics and lots of cabbing possibilities or polish it out for an outstanding Specimen. the measurements taken from the widest points are 7"x 5.75"x 1/4" and the weight is 11.7 ounces. this material was first brought to the US in 2000 at the Tuscon show and has been one of the greatest discoveries of orbicular jasper ever. all of the ocean jasper recovered was packed by hand on an island in Madagascar and removed by boat from this island. since its discovery in 2000 this location has been completely mined out and as years go by will be increasingly harder to come by. these pictures were taken outdoors in sunlight. none of my pictures are enhanced in any way. no color or brightness,or contrast enhancements of any kind. this is exactly how they come from the camera. i use a nikon d-50 camera to take all of my pictures. don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. all items will be shipped within 3 days after payment is received. attn international customers, international flat rate boxes are now available. canada and mexico = 23.00 and everyw else is 37.00. we can get up to 20 pounds in a flat rate box. so now you can get more and save on shipping costs .
