Gorgeous as a legendary modern princess, Monte Carlo Cissy, made for the Collectors United Conv ention is 2003, exudes style and grace. She wears a cream wool suit with black lace trim on the peplum jacket over a black bustier with rhinestone buckle. The pencil skirt is also trimmed with lace. Atop her blonde chignon ( still in net) she wears a cream straw hat with black lace. Black gloves, sheer pantyhose, and matching cream-and-lace shoes complete the outfit. ( I almost forgot the jet beads and earrings!) I took her out of the box for the first time to check her for flaws and to take her picture. She is in mint condition. The box was not so fortunate. It is slightly dented, and an unfortunate accidental stain during moving forced me to cut a bit of the lid away.Her gorgeous eyes are blue and of course, they open and close perfectly. Her Certificate is still attached to the box and states that she is one of 200. It doesn't give a number for her.She is from the collection of my husband's late wife, a devoted collector who kept her dolls stored in one room away from pets, smoke, and odors until a place could be built for them, which did not happen because of illness.
