Vintage 1956 Madame Alexander "Southern Belle" in her all original tagged costume. She measures approximately 8 inches tall. "Wendy" is in very good condition. She is a "walker" doll, bends at the knees and head moves back and forth when you move her legs. She is wearing a striped gown with lace trimming, organza petticoat, lace trimmed panties, original socks, "fuzzy" bottomed shoes, "diamond necklace", and a hat ( some missing fruits and some are broken, also slightly rumpled from storage) . The doll has working sleep eyes with molded lids, bright lip color. Hair is in original set and it is in very good condition with only a very few strays. Doll has been in very long term storage, but doesn't have any distinctive or musty odors. Her dress color is blue and white taffeta, a bit rumpled and shows some age. No visible cracks or holes. She does not have earrings, but does have a necklace. Not sure if the necklace is original or not. Non-smoking home.
