Madame Alexander "Onyx" Cissette issued to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Cissette. She was part of the Platinum Couture Collection issued in 1997. She is the shadow piece to her big sister Cissy and stands 10" tall. Her style # is 22170. This gorgeous doll is hard to adequately describe. Her gown is a combination of black satin and black victorian lace. The bodice is black velvet that crosses behind her neck. The fabulous evening coat is black satin lined in pink satin with a stand up pink satin collar. The coat can be snapped at the front of the dress. She wears black see through stockings and black satin high heels that tie around her ankle. She has red hair pulled up in a bun and brown eyes and a silver metal chain around her neck with a pink crystal stone. The newer dolls have earrings that are pushed in with a gold wire, but the older dolls' earrings were glued on. Her earrings are tiny clear crystal and are glued on; the left earring is a little crooked. However, when you see this costume you will fall in love with this doll; she is gorgeous. Her full length gloves are white satin and there is a pink rose at her waist with cascading pink satin and black velvet ribbons. I am not the original owner of this doll but she came to me in excellent condition with an assurance from the seller that she had never been displayed.
