Hello. For your consideration, I have this lovely 15 1/2" jointed Madame Alexander Elise doll. I purchased this doll for my collection, as I had an outfit for her, that I ended up parting with, to an avid Elise collector. So here she is. BEAUTIFUL rosy cheeks ALL original coloring. No enhancements or repaints. Her face is not a complete matte finish. It is a bit shiny. Still beautiful. Bright blue sleep eyes, with all of their lashes. Her outfit is one of my ABSOLOUTE favorite more modern Alexander outfits. It is tagged, mint out of the box! It was made for the Little Women journal series, but it is outstanding. Crème satin corset with gold brads down the front, laces in the back, and pull on pantaloons made is a satin damask fabric. Gorgeous. She is wearing Elise ballerina slippers. These have some wear to them. Elise has a garland of vintage flowers on the top of her head. I have these pinned on. They follow the original bar that goes across the tops of her head as well. The hair is good. Some strays. I really like this doll. I wish I could collect everything! Okay, so now is the time to run her down. I sometimes make things sound worse because doll disappointments are difficult. Elise was restrung. I purchased her this way. No big deal. Please read this part: Her eyes STICK.
