Circa 1920s Made in Japan Champleve Enameled Bronze Handled Urn Vase. This piece measures 12" tall, has a base diameter of 5.25" across, a top opening diameter of 5.75" across, and is approximately 7.75" in diameter wide around the largest part of the middle of the piece. The vase weighs a hefty 6lbs 2oz. The base of this vase is impressed twice with "MADE IN JAPAN." The enamel work consists of various floral and scroll patterns in colors of deep blue, rust, white, green, yellow & black. I have not attempted to clean this piece in any way, so it has a very darkened patina and a whitish dust type material within the recesses of the patterns. The inside of the vase has also not been cleaned...I will leave it to the buyer to decide to polish and clean it, or leave it as is. Very pretty piece, with nice enameling and an interesting shape! TERMS OF SERVICE: Shipping: Is always actual USPS cost or less to the buyer. I do not charge handling fees within the USA. I am happy to combine shipping for multiple auctions whenever possible (based on the items you are interested in purchasing and if they can fit in the same box and be packaged safely together.)
