Madonna Del GranducaC & A Schwicker 19th Century Oil Painting After RaphaelThe original painting by Raphael was done around 1505.This painting was done most likely in the mid to late 1800'sLabel on the back: C & A Schwicker Artists21 Piazza Pitti, Florence, "Manufactory of Every Kind Of Frames"Renaissance Style PieceThe painter did a beautiful job in capturing Raphael's piece.The frame is ornately carved wood, overlaid with a thin layer of plaster and gold paint. Parts of the frame do show some spots of wear/damage...see photos. These could probably be restored.The painting is in good condition but does have some minimal scuffs here and there....particularly on the edge line where the frame has rubbed up against the canvas....see photo.Little spot on Mary's outer cape where paint has a little chip...see photo.Entire piece measures 20" x 24"There is a name written on the back of the canvas.
