Wonderful quality & condition antique Magic Lantern Glass Slide... i believe the slide dates to c1927 Glass slide appears to be an advertising slide, ive not seen another of its type before.. Slide clearly depicts a Marconi Gramophone and reads as follows " Own a Marconi Gramophone, £1 Down, complete with valve, accessories, royalty & popular loud speaker".."model 22, twin valve set"..... it further displays what was presumably a local distributor.. "J.H Hart, Man- Of-Ross House, Ross" (Ross On Wye, Herefordshire)......J.H. Hart traded from Man Of Ross House between 1914 & 1933.. Slide is in excellent condition, colours are still strong/vibrant... Slide is housed within a " Nosilla, Lantern Plates Box (see pic)...whether originally supplied in this box or simply stored within i have no idea. It is however the only slide found within, set between many cardboard sections...was obviously a prized slide in its day... UK Postage £2.50
