Offered for auction is an old tin and wood magic lantern projector with 4 glass slides. The projector is unmarked. It is about 5" x 3" and 4 1/2" tall. The lens expands from about 2 1/4" to about 3 1/2" for focusing. The chimney is about 2" tall and is removable. I am not sure if that is by design or age, but it is easily replaced for use. It looks like it was designed to use a candle. T is black soot inside from use. T are some dents and dings, but it is in nice condition.Each slide has a different theme. One is boats, one is pets, one is women and girls at home, one is cottages and homes. They are drawings, not photos. T are some scratches, but generally they are in good condition. The first closeup of the slides shows what looks like a crack - it is not. I thought it was, but discovered it was what looked like glue. I was able to remove it.
