T are six slides in this lot and were obviously taken in the early part of the 20th century. They are entitled: Greek Church, Sitka; Inside of Greek Church, Baranoff Castle, Sitka; Sitka from steamer (showing waterfront and buildings); Sitka Harbor and Mission (showing the crescent shaped harbor and buildings; and ocean view from Sitka (showing what appear to be small islands off the coast). They are very crisp pictures showing a very different Sitka than the cruise passengers see today! They were produced by F. J. Haynes.
