Welcome to my e ba y auction/store! Thanks for coming! Up for your purchasing pleasure, a used MAGNAVOX IMPERIAL MICROMATIC MICRO-MATIC by COLLARO (UK England) AUTOMATIC RECORD CHANGER TURNTABLE for PARTS or REPAIR . Excellent- cosmetic condition. 4-speed record changer from mid-1960s console tube stereo. Motor runs smoothly and quietly. Both cartridge channels are good, however, one lead has become detached. Stylus is present and looks OK. Rubber idler wheel that drives platter is rock-hard and unserviceable, idler that drive mechanism is reasonably good. Cleverly designed mechanism utilizes the tonearm itself to detect the presence and size of a record - fun to watch! Also, the changer mechanism operates from a completely separate drive wheel so it always engages at the same sane speed regardless of the playing speed. Mechanism works, but will likely need some lubrication. Rubber platter mat is decent. Has 45 RPM adaptor spindle. T is a label on the underside that says “G600”. Has the original mounting screws, and the original clips and springs. This will be carefully packed for safe arrival. Lot sells as-is. Carefully packed weight 16 lbs.
