This auction is for a lovely and unusual Magnesite mini/small worry stone or palmstone which weighs 27.1 grams and measurements taken at the widest points are approximately 40 mm x 33 mm x 10 mm and comes from the Zimbabwe. This is a magnesite piece and not to be confused with white howlite although some sellers say it is the same thing is isn't they have different mineral properties although they do look alike. Magnesite is more readily available these days than white howlite and used more often. The listing shows both sides of the worry stone/palmstone and it is a natural product which has been shaped/tumbled and may contain natural matrix/pitting etc so please check the pictures properly. Magnesite is amagnesium carbonate mineral, belonging to the Calcite group. Magnesite has theappearance of unglazed porcelain, and is porous. Magnesite is naturally white, but often dyed blue and called Blue Howlite or Turquenite to pass off as Turquoise. Natural magnesite has the appearance of miniature brains. Magnesite is deeply calming and a great aid to use during meditation. It has also been said to help break the bonds of co-dependency, allowing detachment without judgement and promotes unconditional love.
