Magnetic Weedless Vintage Hoage 1940's Fishing Lure DESCRIPTION . I believe the patent was applied for in 1946 for this lure.... Clyde C. Hoage invented and patented many lures, including all lures made by the General Tool Company of St. Paul, Minnesota and several other companies.... The 3-1/4 inch plastic lure is in Very Nice condition.... The paint is very good with just slight signs of wear, and the metal parts have a bit of corrosion....
