Just received in a shipment from Ireland, from Mrs. O'Grady's Estate A true Showstopper, a Masterpiece for the Host or Hostess with discriminating Taste From the Island of Madeira custom made at the turn of the Century This Banquet Cloth measures a huge 70 x 126 This would be such a fabulous Gift for Mom on Mothersday which will be before you know it. Surprise her with a beautiful Antique Heirloom she will be proud to display. An Exquisite, very elegant MADEIRA Banquet cloth constructed from the highest Quality natural Irish Flaxen Linen in the off white/ cream Color. The cloth measures 70 x 126 to the deepest scallop. The cloth comes with 12 HUGE Lapkins 21 x 22 The Pattern is like a Grape and leaf motif. The beautiful padded Satin Stitch embroidery is a very soft beige and the cloth has the magnificent fine Cutwork, Seed stitches, French knots, Richelieu work and many more are depicted in the Pattern. It is completed with the most luxurious deep scalloped edge all finished with handmade Button Hole Stitch and fine Lace Detail. Even the Lapkins have the fine delicate Lace detail. It is absolutely Classy. The Linen is of a very substantial weight and has a sensational flow from the Table, as you can see in the pictures Other then a couple of finger smudges from storage, the Cloth is immaculate. You may wish to gently launder the set to freshen. It has been in Storage many years.
