This is a wonderful hand blown bowl that originally sat in a silver plate carrier and presented as a wedding gift to a happy Victorian bride. Please note that over the years the glass bowls often broke and what remained was the silver plate carrier, so out t, t are more carriers than bowls available, and this is an exceptional bowl. It is not necessary to have the carrier because the bowl is so gorgeous. It could sit on any table to be admired. The bowl is in luscious pinks, with a cased opalescent white glass on the reverse. The edge is ruffled and fluted and is beautifully pontilled on the base.. It is artistically painted with cherries and leaves with some three dimensional painting. I do not know the maker, but I am sure someone out t does. This is a handsome size measuring 11 1/2 inches in diameter. It is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, flea bites or paint loss. The starting price is $90.00, WITH NO RESERVE. Purchaser pays $12.50 for the cost of shipping and insurance if shipped within the continental U.S. If shipped outside the U.S., I will calculate the postage and insurance for you after the sale. Please note we do not accept credit cards, although I do accept PayPal even if you pay PalPal through a credit card . I also accept personal checks and money orders payable in US dollars drawn on a US branch of a US bank.
