This magnificent platter is "BEAUFORT" flow blue made by GRINDLEY, ENGLAND. It is a beautifully detailed, large platter measuring 15 3/4" x 11". It has heavy embossing completely around the rim and the ends of the platter taper to form handles to facilitate serving. T is much detail everyw on the rim of this deep platter. The blue coloring is outstanding and the china looks like a high quality porcelain. This piece is in wonderful condition with absolutely NO nicks, chips or cracks. This has the Grindley trademark and also the numbers "55" incised into the platter back and what looks like the numbers "23" stamped in green on the back. This magnificent platter is an outstanding piece of quality, antique FLOW BLUE.
