This is one UNBELIEVEABLE CHUNKY LARGE HEAVY OPEN DIAL VICTORIAN CARVED OAK BANJO BAROMETER THERMOMETER which is in a SUPERB CONDITION considering its over 100 years old .The BEAUTIFUL CHUNKY MARVELLOUSLY CARVED OAK CASE is very heavy and measures 33 inches in length.This is one FABULOUS UNUSUALLY CARVED BAROMETER which has a BRASS HANGER on the back for fixing to the wall. The LARGE DETACHABLE OAK THERMOMETER BOX measures 10 inches in length and has a FABULOUS WHITE THIC K CERAMIC SCALE inside which matches with the barometer.The oak box is covered with THICK BEVELLED GLASS and the thermometer scale has black writing on in both CENTIGRADE and FAHRENHEIT and is very clear and easy to read. Attached to the scale is a THERMOMETER which is in PERFECT WORKING ORDER. The ACTUAL BAROMETER including the SUPER CLEAN BRASS RIM and THICK BEVELLED GLASS measures 9 inches in diameter.The UNUSUAL SUPERB PERFECT WHITE CERAMIC OPEN BAROMETER DIAL is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC with large black writing on it which is clear and easy to read. This is one SUPERB EXAMPLE of VICTORIAN CRAFTMANSHIP which would make the most WONDERFUL CENTREPIECE which will TURN EYES wherever it is positioned.
