Must See! Great For King Bed Too! is a pair of massive, regal, twin beds probably made in Italy, and put together would make a magnificent king size bed! The carved faces on the foot and headboard are meant to face each other like on "marriage chests" of the Renaissance. Together they are just a bit oversized for a king mattress, and alone they are slightly narrow for standard twin mattresses. The length is an extra long size, just under seven feet! The foot and headboards are made of extra thick walnut, very heavy and sturdy. The classical architectual form makes this a timeless design. The carved panels of a warrior man and wife along with dragonesque creatures adds a romantic Victoriana feel overall! Whether you use these as twins or put them together for a grand king,...this is a rare and unusual set we do not come across often! Remember, our reserves are always our lowest price,...so bid with confidence! ~ Condition is very good, sturdy, and original. The measurements of each bed are 73" high, (40" footboard), 45" wide, and 92" long. Each inside frame dimension is 36 1/2" wide by 83" long. Butted together, the inside frame dimension is 83" long by 81" wide. Shipping by our truck within the 48 states will be between 100.00 (local) and 500.00 depending on location.
