( I will also accept personal checks and money orders.) *** Signed Hawkes American brilliant period cut glass whiskey bottle! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm happy to be able to offer this spectacular item for auction. This whiskey bottle is signed Hawkes with the Trefoil and word Hawkes on the end of the stopper. (see photo)The stopper is original and fits like a glove. T are some rough edges on the end of the stopper. No larges chips or other flaws though. The bottle stands 12 inches high with stopper in and is 3 1/4 inches wide at the bottom. The bottle weighs in at 2 lbs. 12.2 ounces. The pattern is gorgeous. The design includes a sharp swirl pattern cut on the lip. The neck is paneled, fluted and beaded. The top portion of the body has a chain of triangles with double x mitered cane inside. The mid portion of the body has what looks like ferns or pine needles, but could also represent rye since this is a liquor bottle. Just under the rye t are fine silver diamonds. Between these are kites of very fine nailhead diamonds. Finally on the bottom is a 24 point single cut star. The blank is the finest water white and has no residue inside. The condition read more
