WHAT A LOVELY ANTIQUE LATE VICTORIAN SILVER COFFEE POT! IT IS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY. And really nice and exceedingly heavy too. This is a very large example and features a most wonderful silver knop finial. It sits on a circular base. Here we have a quite exceptional and quite lovely solid silver teapot of terrific gauge and weight.Hallmarks are deep and clear.Fully marked to lid and to side of body. Assayed in London and dated 1899 (year letter d).Maker is JH-Job Frank Hall-a fine maker whose mark is seldom seen. This is a lovely and uncommon piece of Victorian silver-it of highly flamboyant form and is a wonderful piece of grand silver. The diameter is very large at 8 inches and its height 10.75 inches. It is unengraved and always has been,definitely no ersures either. This lovely pot is of exceptional quality and is a most delightful piece of table silver. Its weight is a sublime 836 grams (26.88 troy ounces) and the overall condition is very good.Its only flaw are two small areas of repair with these being to one side and the base-these are barely noticeable and detract little from what is still a lovely pot,the other pieces of which i have also listed.In my opinion it remains way too good to scrap and has plenty of life left in it yet! Handle and finial are crucially both firm and secure. I have also listed tonight the matching teapot and sucriere/creamer in 2 separate lots. Please note that i have listed many other good items of both modern and antique silver,please do have a look-including more teasets,canteens and good individual pots. A truly beautiful and most wonderful lot. Would doubtless cost an awful lot of money in a good retail outlet today.. PERFECT FOR USE ALL YEAR ROUND,DINE IN REAL STYLE! Collection is more than welcome-i am located near junction 18 of M25 Motorway.Delivery may also be possible as i travel often. WILL POST WORLDWIDE TOO! An opportunity not to be missed.
