Large empire style mahogany chest from the late 1890's or very early 1900's. Beautiful bookmatched veneered drawer fronts, claw feet, and carved posts. Drawer sides and bottoms are also of mahogany. The height to the top of the mirror is 76" and its 49" to the top of the chest. The depth is 26" and the width is 42". T's a celluloid tag on the back reading "Manufactured by the W. M. Cohan Company Chicago". T are light surface scratches on the top and a few on the sides. Generally, the finish is very good. This very heavy and large, so its pick-up only. Figure 150 pounds pounds uncrated, 200 crated for shipping estimates.
