Mahogany Chippendale Desk w/ Leather Inlay

This leather-inlay Chippendale writing desk is hand carved of solid mahogany. T are 15 drawers (including two hidden drawers within the drawers) and a central compartment behind the carved door. All of the drawers are dove-tailed. The desk consists of two pieces for easy transportation. The desk measurements are 41-1/2" wide x 24" deep x 42" tall. The writing surface is 30-1/4" high and has a black-leather inlay. All hardware is solid brass. The desk features beautiful rope carvings, carved legs and ball and claw feet and is as beautiful as it is practical. I am unsure of exact age but this desk was purchased at an antique store. Shipping is not available - item must be picked up in Glasgow, KY. Payment may be made through PayPal ahead of time or we will accept accept a money order, cashiers check or cash upon pick-up. Note: The leather inlay on the desk does need conditioning and has come loose in one corner (see new picture). T are not tears or scratches in the leather. Both of these issues should be easily remedied. Otherwise the desk is in great condition with no scratches. The drawers do not lock.
