It features gorgeous French shell carvings at the top of the canopy, headboard and footboard. The headboard features stunning filigree carvings across the arched top with a shell carved motif' which is mimicked at the canopy top, the footboard and again centered between two round shapes at the headboard. The canopy extends out about 20". The bed has a rich, hand rubbed walnut finish. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Measures 91" Tx 85.5" W x 87" D Mattress opening is 83" x 78" Slats are 12" from the ground Please read the below notes: SHIPPING & PACKING: $450 in the continental United States. Packing and shipping are outsourced. Each piece we sell is packed in custom fit boxing/crating by a professional. This fee is included in the shipping charge. Without this your item most likely will have a delay in shipping. We accept checks, money orders or cashiers checks. We do not accept Paypal! All items are normally shipped within 2-4 weeks of receiving cleared payment. Personal checks are held for 10 business days from the date we receive payment, NOT the date you mailed it. We send confirmation upon receipt of payment via Ebay and again at the time of shipment along with any pertinent tracking information/carrier, etc. SHIPPING DAMAGES: Please view our feedback to see the hundreds of compliments on our professional packing. Even with excellent packing, t is a rare chance of damage happening during transit. In that very rare event, it is imperative that you save all original packing materials/box/crating. You will need to contact the shipping company immediately to file a claim. NON PAYING BIDDERS : As sellers, we are charged roughly 10% of any given items sales price by Ebay ...this includes both listing fees and final value fees.
