We are listing this absolutely fantastic mahogany pineapple poster full size bed. Dating from the 1940's, this beautiful mahogany bed has fluted columns, a fluted post, very ornate, detailed pineapple finials, shield panels on the headboard and footboard, and a broken arch top, a flame finial center on the headboard. The inside dimensions on the bed is 54 x 75 inches, which would take a regular modern day box spring and mattress, and the outside dimensions are 57 inches wide with the height of the footboard being 49 inches high. The height of the cross stretcher is 30.5 inches high and the height of the headboard post is 58 inches tall. It has minor surface scratches and dings, but that is expected from a bed that is 70 years old. This is an extremely nice piece with the original dark reddish-brown stain mahogany finish.
